A few small
questions.

A mouse can shift slightly as you press its button, especially with a vertical or ergonomic grip. NoDrift helps keep that small movement from becoming an accidental drag. It protects movement during a button press; it does not correct movement before the press or change pointer acceleration.

Yes. Move beyond your tuned boundary to begin a normal drag. For a very small intentional drag, hold Option to bypass protection. You can also reduce the tolerance or switch protection off from the menu bar.

No. It can help with click-induced movement from other mice too. One tuning profile applies to all pointing devices, including trackpads. Separate profiles for individual mice are not available in this version.

macOS 14 or later, plus Accessibility and Input Monitoring permissions. NoDrift explains the permissions during setup. Retune after changing your mouse, grip, pointer speed, or display scaling.

NoDrift processes mouse events locally. It reads the Option modifier on those events for bypass, but does not monitor keyboard events. It has no analytics, advertising, accounts, or cloud service. Your saved preferences stay on your Mac.
